Dancehall superstar Busy Signal added another milestone to his remarkable career this week after being honoured with the 2026 Reggae Icon Award at Jamaica's Independence Grand Gala. The award, presented by the Government of Jamaica, recognizes artistes whose music has helped shape the global reach and influence of reggae and dancehall. Busy Signal shared this year's honour with reggae hitmaker Wayne Wonder.
